Christmas Party 2023 🎊

We had our end of year Christmas Party. We made big big bubbles. 

And I got a poodle balloon and watched the puppet show. 

And my favourite of all, I got a present from Santa! 

 

Bubbly Bubbles

 Blowing bubbles at Jellicoe Park is therapeutic! Everyone loves when the bubbles fly in the wind. 

Tiling

In gardening I’ve been helping with mosaic. We’ve been designing a pot plant with broken tiles. It’s looking pretty awesome. 

 

Circability

 Here’s me during circability learning to juggle some soft material balls. It’s not as easy as it looks but I did try my best. 

H2GO

I’m helping to fill up all our water bottles that will be stored in the fridge with our names on it. It will keep us hydrated during this warm season. 

 

Ocean Vibes Show

We had a our annual show. The theme was “Ocean Vibes” and I wore a sarong and paper roll waist band. I danced to S club 7. I was so excited for the show and was happy to see my family watching me. 

 

Cook Off

 In cooking group we made some corn fritters and sausage rolls. Here’s me mixing the mixture together. 

Water indoor sports

Bayfair and Park time

Here’s me at Baypark playground swinging. We caught the bus to Bayfair and walked to the park. What a beautiful day to be in the sun. 

 

Tidy kiwi☺️

In life skills group, I helped tidy our kitchen cupboards. I helped pass the kitchenware to staff after wiping down the surfaces. I learned how to fold our tea towels nicely. Was a great session of learning to take care of our working environment, 

 

Drama & Timezone

I went to drama and practising for our production.

Birthday, Bus trip, Bayfair

It’s me birthday week! I got chocolate cake. Yippee 🥳 

I went to Bayfair and walked around the mall looking at different stores. Here’s me riding on an escalator 😁

 

Bayfair and Maketu beach

Here’s me waiting at the bus depot to return back to Te Puke from Bayfair. 

Went to Maketu beach. What a beautiful for a swing at the park. 

 

Circability & bowling

We played with the parachute in circability. We threw a ball that moved around the parachute to each person. Was super fun!

I went to Ten pin bowling. It’s easier for me to bowl when I bowl the ball on the support stand. 

 

Circability & Bayfair

We had our 2nd session of circability and I enjoyed playing with the parachute. I learned to follow the ball  along the parachute.

Barbie movie & Peoples first

I went to watch Barbie at event cinema in Bayfair. What a great movie! 

I went to Peoples first. My favourite part of the session is dancing on stage. 

 

Bowls and Barbie

I went bowling at Bayfair. I’m gradually the hang of carrying the heavy ball and bowling it myself. 

In pamper group we played with Barbies. We learnt tot brush their hair, dress them and organise their little homes. 

 

Matariki lunch and bus trip

Here’s me helping prepare bread stuffing for our Matariki lunch. 

Bus trip is always an exciting adventure for me. I’m warm and cosy for our trip to Bayfair. 

 

Matariki shop

I went to Pak n save and purchased some veges for Matariki. 

We got pumpkins, Kumara and potatoes. 

 

Sensory & Peoples first 😁

We went to Greerton sensory. Look at this enormous Nemo ☺️ He’s so soft and cuddly. That was one of the highlights of our visit. 

On Tuesday we visited Yii at Peoples first. We learnt about our rights to vote. We always look forward to dancing at the end of our visit. 

 

Fluffies and Kmart

Fluffy feet soothes me! Look at me enjoying the moment in pamper group. 

We went for a tiki tour around Kmart during our bus trip. 

 

Brownies

In cooking session we made chocolate brownies. I enjoyed helping put all the ingredients together. 

 

Treats & relaxing

I went to Papamoas Mc Donald to have a sweet treat 😊

Sometime I enjoy chilling and watching videos after an eventful day.

Pamper Galore❤️

I went to Mecca in Bayfair and got lipstick applied by one of the lovely staff. 

In pamper group I helped dry the staffs hair. Great for motor skills and pampering others. 

 

Bus and I-dance

I went on the bus with my friends to Bayfair. 

I love going to I-dance and dancing around the studio.
