Christmas starts here!!!

We had a great music session this week singing Xmas songs and getting in the swing of it all!!!!

Yuletide time!!!

We've all had a great time putting up decorations up this week. I ve loved dressing up and singing songs like we wish you a merry Christmas, which we all do here in Te puke. Have a great Xmas. We will!!

I love the park and we had a great time rolling down the hill and playing ball games, we all felt like a big family.

Amazing X factor!

Fun, awesome, certificates, singing, dancing, morro bars are just some of the words that sum up our brilliant morning at the Historic village, detour theatre.  We performed Take it easy by stan walker and I think we were brilliant. Other performances by other groups from the other studios were, Titanium, eye of the tiger and have a little faith.  They were all good and the atmosphere were great.  I loved watching everyone it was great.

Sensory room fun.

I love sensory room and this week was great as Marshall came along and played games all the time.

Daves 56 ssshhhh!!!

Great to have lovely food and cake with David on Thursday for lunch, don't tell anyone but he's 56 years old now!! Doesn't look it does he?  Happy birthday I had a great day.

Rainy day

We had a lovely and relaxing morning on Friday. We read books which we got from the library.

Ashas visit

I had a great time visiting asha the other day, she looked well and we all caught up.

Annie performance

My friends and I went to see the performance of Annie at the historic village

Advocacy meeting

Robert came around for our fun Advocacy meeting and we all had our say and told him what we had been doing.

Chopping the veg

We had a divine and healthy afternoon tea on Monday. I helped chop all the celery from the garden then we dipped it all in yummy hummus. My fave!!!!

Baking up a storm!!!

We had a nice time baking our biscuits on Monday morning. I loved rolling them to go into the oven.

Count down

Guess what everyone. One more day and its my birthday. Lucky for me we have planned an outing for lunch here in te puke. But for today I am enjoying our music session.

Sensory room.

Hi everyone, we had a great time with Dave in the sensory room on Wednesday, we had a sing a long with the guitar then played games with the uv light.

Wednesday groovin

We had a special guest on Wednesday afternoon. Our friend malakai came to sing us some songs! We all loved it and had a sing a long! 

Music

We have been working on a music room. We have been collecting everyone's favourite songs so that we all have our own play lists on the computer. 

Sensory room

I look forward to going to the sensory room every week. This week I chose to do some art work. Take a look.

Movies

I had an outing to the movies this week to see despicable me 2. We all enjoyed the movie as we all had some good laughs.

The soup kitchen

We made a wonderful soup kitchen that felt and smelled divine on Monday. We set the tables and got flowers to make the place feel like home. Yum.

Cafe

Ladies out at a cafe. I had a hot chocolate and so did my friend Tamzyn. Amy was with us as well. I enjoyed myself.

Palm pets

We went to seethe animals at palm pets in papamoa. We had a lovely time and the doggies were my favourite!!!!

Movies

I went with Tamzyn and Amy down to the theatre to check what is screening at the moment. We hope to go the movies for an outing when we find a movie we will enjoy.

Meals on wheels

Today we did meals on wheels. I delivered a meal. Really great to help.

My new clips

I have got some new clips. Lucy did my hair this morning using my new clips. I have nail polish on my fingernails. I am going to the sensory room this morning with Adriaan.

Photos

Lots of photos are being taken at the studio at the moment.i thought I would show you some of me.

Bubbles

A group went to the warehouse shopping on Thursday and we were able to choose an item to buy.i chose some bubbles. Back at the studio I was able to blow some bubbles they came out all different colours and they flew high up into the sky.

Beautiful

I came to the studio this morning in a beautiful dress. My hair had been straightened and I even had a little makeup on. What a lady. We have all made Mother's Day cards this week.

Winter is coming

Well ladies winter is coming and at the studio we have started to see what is in fashion for this winter. I have even had a shop just check my new boots.

Family wedding and birthday

I went to my sisters wedding and also my grandmas birthday all on the same weekend we were very busy as a family. Just look at the beautiful colour of my toenails.

Child cancer appeal

I went to help collect for child cancer thanks to all you generous people of te puke who donated while we were at countdown.

Apple bobbing

We had a beach day and one of our games was apple bobbing we all tried really hard to get an apple

iPad

I had a turn with the iPad doodle app today it was fun.

Shelley

I arrived at the studio this morning and the staff at my flat had curled my hair this morning. I looked very pretty.

Baking

It was my job today to help Gabriel load the dish washer after we had made yummy cup cakes for our camp people. I am very helpful I like to bake.

Best clothes

Amy and I dressed up for the studio today. I wore a lovely dress and a staff member at my flat put my hair up with a flower in it.

Friends

I have many friends at arohanui and we enjoy each others company. We were singing in this photo at music

New photo board

We are making a new photo board for the studio at the moment. We hope to have heaps of photos pinned up soon for all our visitors to see.
